Hank’s Grass-fed beef is finished grain-free with no hormones or steroids. While most beef cattle are grain-finished; Hank’s beef cattle remain on 100% forage grass diet throughout their finishing period. For you, this means Hank’s Grass-fed beef is naturally healthier meat which is simple, great tasting, top quality, and available year-round.
What do you mean by grass-finished?
Hank’s grass-fed beef comes from cattle that have been finished on a grass forage diet. Our emphasis is providing the closest thing to a natural diet as possible. In our grass-fed beef program, the calves are weaned at 60 days and transition to a grower diet. During this transition, they get access to some grains for approximately 3 weeks. The grower diet is based on grass forage and is supplemented with free choice of liquid whey and if required dried ground peas. While most beef cattle are grain-finished, Hank’s beef cattle remain on a 100% grass forage diet throughout the finishing period of 3 months.

We are raising premium beef and sell only AA or AAA grade. As a result, the taste is flavorful and guaranteed to be consistent.
